Non-Bias Allocation of Export Capacity for Distribution Network Planning With High Distributed Energy Resource Integration

چکیده
A novel distributed energy resources (DER) allocation method focused on grid constraints that avoids topological bias is proposed for distribution networks. technology-agnostic approach used, where a non-bias of export capacity (NAEC) not specific to generation type calculated. Moreover, the NAEC extended from an into hosting (HC) using statistical approach. The methods are tested IEEE 33-bus system, and two typical Irish feeders -one urban, one rural- as case studies. Using high-resolution year-long quasi-static time series simulation (QSTS) three different profiles, validated against current practices state art in terms active balancing, security supply, interactions between users, operational concerns, fairness. Results show equivalent or higher level DER penetration achieved methodology. There no additional constraint violations methodology, moreover, slots with reduced, improving supply. Furthermore, results suggest avoiding makes network accessible more prioritises self-consumption.

Capacity Value of Distributed Generation for Network Capacity Planning
Installed capacities of distributed generation are projected to increase substantially in Great Britain and many other power systems. This paper will discuss the definition of capacity value of DG arising from its ability to support additional demand without the need for new network capacity, in analogy with the definition of Effective Load Carrying Capability (ELCC) at transmission level. This...
